It is preservative-free and free from oil, parabens, talc and fragrance, and is never tested on animals. Because it sits lightly on the skin, mineral powder is a popular choice for oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin that does not tolerate heavy liquid foundations.

How to apply mineral powder foundation

1. Start with moisturised skin and let your skincare absorb for a minute.
2. Tap a small amount of powder into the lid and swirl your brush through it, tapping off the excess.
3. Buff onto the skin in small circular motions, starting at the centre of the face and working outwards.
4. Build a second light layer over areas that need more coverage, such as redness around the nose or chin.

For the most even, airbrushed finish, use the Angled Kabuki Brush or the Buffer Brush, both made with soft vegan fibres.
