About Dermal Rollers

Dermal rollers for at-home micro-needling. A dermal roller has hundreds of fine needles that create tiny channels in the top layer of skin, which helps the serums you apply afterwards absorb more effectively and supports the skin's natural renewal process.

Our Dermal Roller Home Care has 540 fine stainless steel needles designed for safe, regular home use on the face and neck. Used consistently, home rolling can help improve the look of skin texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, pigmentation and dullness.

How to use a dermal roller at home

Dermal rolling is best done at night, 2 to 3 times a week.

  1. Cleanse with Rejuvenating Foaming Cleanser and pat skin dry.
  2. Apply a few drops of a hydrating serum such as Barrier Hydration Complex so the roller glides easily.
  3. Working one section of the face at a time, roll 4 to 5 times vertically, then horizontally, then diagonally. Lift the roller between passes rather than dragging it across the skin.
  4. Finish with a treatment serum like the Multi-Peptide Serum, then your moisturiser.

Who is home micro-needling for?

Home rolling suits most skin types and is popular for ageing skin, mild acne scarring, uneven tone and sun damage. Results build gradually, so most people notice smoother, brighter looking skin after a few weeks of regular use.

Safety and care

Do not roll over active acne, cold sores, open wounds, raised moles or inflamed skin, and avoid rolling within 3 days of an AHA peel. Clean your roller after every use, never share it, and replace it regularly so the needles stay sharp. Skin can be more sensitive to the sun after rolling, so wear SPF every day.
