What Is Glycerin?
Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the air and deeper skin layers into the skin's surface. It's naturally present in skin cells already, which makes it exceptionally well tolerated even on sensitive or compromised skin.
It's considered a foundational hydrating ingredient in cosmetic formulation, which is why it appears in almost every ASI serum, cleanser and moisturiser as part of the base formula.
