Psoriasis and Eczema
Eczema is a form of dermatitis characterised by itchiness and inflammation of the outer layer of the skin.
Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease which causes skin cells to reproduce rapidly and reach the surface of the skin up to 4 times faster than normal. The most common symptoms of psoriasis are:
- Red patches of skin
- Scaly spots
- Cracking (and sometimes bleeding)
Different treatment options work for different people, so it is wise to try a variety of options to determine which works best. ASI recommends visiting a doctor for professional treatment and recommendations.
The below is a professional therapist recommendation targeted to skin dehydration, sensitivity, and redness. This reccommendation should not be used as a medical treatment of Eczema or Psoriasis. Do not use products on broken skin, if skin irritation occurs discontinue use immediately.
